However, it does not seem to be much of a battle, after all - both are equally vague and evasive, which is yet another testimony of the stifling and debilitating effect of populism on political discourse in this country. Unabashed science and egg-head bashing may be a history, but neither candidate dares to espouse a radical pro-science program.
