My comment would be that neither of these guys would have much to say about materialist theory of political economy or other social realms of inquiry, such as history.
^^^^^^^ CB: Not sure that Einstein would not have. He was for socialism. He opposed Germany going to war in WWI, when all his physicist associates were gungho. Hard to think he knew nothing about Marx, Communist Manifesto and all that. Social Democrats had a large bloc in the Reichstag. One of Einstein's neighbors was a Social Democratic leader at one of his residences.
