On the subject of URLs, what I find most useful (and what I try to
provide when I cite a URL) is a brief summary of what the clicker will
find there, so that the potential clicker can decide whether or not it
is worth clicking. A subject line saying "This is interesting" or the
like, and a message consisting only of the URL, doesn't usually tempt
me to click.
