Like Dwayne, though, I still think they'll try, especially after the 2006 
elections. There's nothing to stop them. There's nothing to lose. Power? 
They're already facing a huge fight in the party. Dick Cheney can't run for 
Prez. -- his health isn't up for it. That leaves it wide-open. And they 
can't have that; they'll insist on unity to beat the Dems.

If the neocons want to secure their dominance in the party--and there are a 
lot of Republicans who are very unhappy about them--the best way to do it 
will be to stir up a war, all the while slowly building up so much hysteria 
that people will buy whatever they dish out. They did it with Iraq.
