got clobbered in the ratings. But his HBO show has done quite well, where
ratings aren't as important. He's also won a few Emmys, not that that means
anything. </DIV>

libertarian, actually, though that might be generous). To borrow
from Umberto Eco, Miller creates a series of surfaces to give the illusion
