<DIV>Rosbalt<BR>75% in Poll Favor Rebirth of 'Pioneer' Spirit<BR><BR>SAINT PETERSBURG, MAY 20. Three-quarters of all Russians believe there is a<BR>need for a Pioneer-type organization, Romir Monitoring found in a recent<BR>nationwide survey. At the same time, 13% of those asked saw no need for a<BR>mass organization of the Pioneer variety for school-age youngsters, and 2%<BR>were unable to answer one way or the other. The proportion of positive<BR>responses rose with the age of those responding. Women were more positive<BR>toward the idea than men.<BR></DIV><p>
