Yes life is cruel. Oh No! How depressing. These two stars were gods to teenagers in the USSR. Disco Dancer is almost a Soviet anthem.
BTW was there any feedback into India of Soviet pop culture? People here LOVED Bollywood. Did Soviet films get any play in India? (Some Soviet war films or comedies are fantastic.)
