Whenever there's talk about the rich and drugs, it always brings to mind the story about Keith Richards...who supposedly used blood transfusions to get off heroin before rock concerts. Worked for him, though he has looked like death warmed over for quite a while.

If you're poor on drugs I guess you're more likely to get sick or die. If you're rich on drugs, I guess you're more likely to stay on drugs forever because it's an option. You could do a study to crunch actual numbers, but what would it show? If it shows that the poor have a worse time of it, what could they do about it? Get rich?

Bottom line, drug-wise I'd fight for the following:

1. No criminalization of anything: not use, not peddling, not production, not anything. 2. Free, socially subsidized drug education/detox/quitting programs. & levy enough tax on drug sales to pay for these programs.
