Any kind of land tenure is self-evidently based on force. Marx makes
this observation in passing somewhere in the Grundrisse. And it occurs
to me (nearly 50 years after seeing the movie) that this is (among many
other things) what Bunuel's _Viridiana_ dramatizes.
