See my response to DH. What I say makes perfect sense even in the corridors of Chicago City Hall, or in the offices of the most corrupt law firm your fancy can invent. Doug is being silly in his phase "guaranteed to lose," since nothing in my original post justifies that. But then Doug has never once responded to a post I wrote, but always to posts that exist only in his fantasy. The DP is not _guaranteed to lose_ by their policies. It's just that they won't violate certain principles in order to win. And that's true of almost every person or every organization in human history.
