w.r.t above: having been on usenet/mailing-lists for as long as i have, i should've known better than to let my temper do the talking. i think those who posted in the cockburn thread against his analysis (including sujeet) made an incomplete and IMHO incorrect argument. i also think sujeet's dismissive tone, w.r.t the forwarded article about bhutan, was unsubstantiated. nonetheless, i do not really believe that the arguments on the cockburn thread were woolly-headed, so i take back the above.
