Hey, is HIV/AIDS still considered a "gay" disease in the States? The last time I looked at the stats (in 2002-03), 94% of HIV cases in Russia were the result of needle sharing by IV drug users, and most of the rest were caused by heterosexual sex (or so the people infected said, anyway).
AFAIK, zero people have died of AIDS in Russia so far, though the HIV infection rate is rising fast.
