That is true by definition, since government revenue comes mainly from
taxation.  The problem is not where the money is coming from (invariably
from taxes) but where it goes to.  In Europe it funds welfare Keynesianism
that benefits mainly working people.  In the US it fuels military
Keynesianism that benefits mainly corporations and marginally a handful of
workers whom the defense contractors employ.
