Michael mentioned strawberries too, but they are not so bad to work in. I would call picking strawberries _crawling_ rather than _stooping_ work, and crawling isn't so bad. What's bad, even for short times, is bending, standing up, moving a foot, bending, standing up, moving a foot. . . . The cure for that kind of work is for humans to go without whatever product necessitates it.
