The only prairie grass around here is a clearly labeled batch prominently displayed over on the Sprint headquarters campus. I tell people they have prairie grass in order to save money on mowing.

Believe it or not, there is a small herd of buffalo about two miles south of my current location. It's kind of incongruous to see them next to new suburban houses.

I'm back from my road trip to Madison, Chicago, Indianapolis, Arlington, VA, and St. Louis. I discovered that I really don't miss the paranoid overpriced mess that is Washington, DC and I rode my first wooden rollercoasters and found that they hold up pretty well compared to the newest 21st century stuff.

There is too much class rock on the radio dial. Class rock stations have to go! There are also fewer country station on the air than I expected.

Best bumper sticker, seen in Madison: CURB YOUR GOD.
