No one said that articulating a maximum program s/b forbidden. 9/10 of what the radical left desires are my desires too and Michael's and others that criticize utopian goals in this conjuncture in this conflict.

A few nights ago on the BBC listened to their 30 minute interview with Gerry Adams of Sein Finn. The Interviewer asked several times if Gerry was satisfied, maximal goals he had in the 70's and 80's of a unified, socialist state in Ireland. Nope. But, he recognizes as does Fatah in Palestine, that the armed struggle had exhausted its potentials. (Would I like to see Ian Paisley, hung from a lampost for the crimes of the UDF? You betcha! Will that happen? Nope. Likewise the were lots of provocations and Brit infiltrators that carried bombings and assasinations blamed on the IRA.)

Demand the Impossible was a great May '68 slogan but, it isn't politics.
