I think that what they are referring to is all the gifts you will be getting for your birthdy, like the sweater that's three sizes too small for you, the four or five PDAs that you will be getting that you don't need, stuff like that. People are wishing that you will have an easy time returning all this unnecessary stuff to the department stores and that you will be able to get the stuff that you really want.
What else could they mean?
