Fascinated with Bill O'Reilly's attack on Jon Stewart
for not properly defending the "Judeo-Christian"
tradition of Christmas (yes, Jon is Jewish and thus an
odd one to go after for not celebrating baby Jesus'
birth) -- 

-- ... and further bemused by the Austro-Germanic
Christmas tradition of the Krampusse, who are
Christmas demons that are said to accompany St. Nick,
often violently assaulting "bad" kids" en route

-- I recently learned of another Christmas hellspawn:
the Icelandic "Yule cat." Apparently this bloodthirsty
fiend prowls the snows around Christmas in Iceland. It
is a carnivore with a taste for the flesh of Icelandic
children.

So, yeah.
