there are porn films that degrade women, are disgusting, and what else is new? most porn films show women having fun, with men who are often almost faceless and identfiable only by their dicks...male (organ) objectification?
women are degraded - in front of far more people - in popular films and tv shows...and in popular culture, blacks are often depicted in worse ways than any old racist movie of pre-civil rights, pre-pc hollywood...and so on...
if we select the worst of anything, everything else the field includes can be made to seem just as bad, especially in the mind (?) of the beholder...
