Well, there could be a bright side -- these rentier jackasses can do
everything but provide content. So there might be a return, in reaction
to this crap, to "analogue" artisanal production meant for local use only.
You know: back to a samizdat literature/art/music circuit in which you actually have to know how to draw/dance/act/sing/play an instrument or know someone who can, in order to enjoy art. A rebirth of "vernacular" culture!!!
And there should be enough open source shit to make some of this available over the net. Servers aren't that expensive.
