BEML to make Chinese loaders

Public sector undertaking Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML) will manufacture Chinese loaders under agreement with Xiamen Company at its Karnataka plant. It will market both at home and for exports. These loaders are for infrastructure projects, open cast mines and construction sites.
The loader were unveiled by M R Sreenivasa Murthy, managing director, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, while inaugurating the BEML stall at the Excon-05.
These loaders (ZL30) have a bucket capacity of 1.7 CuM, maximum operating weight of 9,690 kgs and 92 Kw power input.
The company at Excon-05 is showcasing equipment including BE71, BE200 and BE220 Hydraulic Excavators, BD31 and BD65 Bulldozers, BL9H Backhoe Loader, BL10C Side Discharge Loader, BG605X Motor Grader, BDG diesel generator set.
Presently, over 3,000 BEML machines work in construction, pipe-laying and infrastructure projects across the country, said a company official.
