"Brokeback Mountain" opened tonight and I went to see it. This is Ang 
Lee's latest, and it is an outstanding movie in that it is basically a 
(tragic) love story, which happens to involve two men, in a setting as 
iconically American as one could come up with.

Quite a coup to do something like this without making it a "queer" movie 
and without making it political in any overt way.

I recommend it.
