[This is moderately long, but fun if you're into the primate culture/Is Aggression aka Male Assininity Innate? thing, because it does a good job of surveying the field and bringing it all together. At first, it looks like he's throwing a damp towel on our side. And the suspicion is that it's because he's baboon researcher, natural enemy of the bonobo fan. But in the end it turns he supports us even more firmly. If savannah baboons can learn to be SNAGs, any primate can. And once they set up the cultural framework, it endures over time and changes in personnel.]
