You can lather and repeat all you want and will still be wrong. The problem *is* too much bad art. Bad art is the sea we swim in. It has far more influence over public tastes than good art because it is so omnipresent. This guarantees that mass tastes will continue to degenerate, perpetuating and intensifying a bleak aesthetic environment in general.

You may not be interested in bad art, but bad art is interested in you.
