Of course, you can always roll over for the empire and end up desperately 
poor, too.  Is it a tiny bit possible that things in S. Korea are better than 
they would be were not the other half of the country resisting the empire?  Kind 
of like how the public sector in the U.S. is being dismembered and carted off 
by the rich now there are no big bad socialists out there to worry about?
