Well, yes, the rhetoric was less than effective--I've seen similar results when delivered in Hawaii by acolytes of Churchill. But but you're confusing disagreement with distortions of the argument with agreement about the argument. No, if you read the entire argument, it's clear that he's not referring to elevator repairmen. Nonetheless, even recognising that, I'm not inclined to buy into the argument for reasons already expresed by both Yoshie and Doug. But, sorry, Cooper and Nathan just distort the argument and then argue against that distortion.
