NEW DELHI: A high-profile delegation from Nanchang, the capital city of Jiangxi, a south-east China province, is in India to study the models structured in the IT hubs of the country. Nanchang is being modelled as the Bangalore of China.
The delegation, which included Jian Hua Gong, deputy mayor of Nanchang, visited Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi to look at the model developed in India to promote the IT sector.
The delegation also tried to woo Indian IT companies to set up shop in Nanchang to exploit the domestic market of China and the opportunities that China’s industrialisation has scooped up.
