Chomsky could sue these fuckers and probably win fairly easily, even under the provisions of US libel law. They claim (I don't know about the Chomsky page, but on the Amy Goodman page that references Chomsky) that Chomsky teaches "that the Holocaust might never have happened," which is a lie and is actionable. Of course, people have been spreading this lie for years and Chomsky refuses on principle to sue anyone, because he is a free speech absolutist. Given other reasons that people have listed (e.g., the attention-seeking of the red-baiters) this is probably also a tactically sound decision apart from a principled one.

On another note on this website (I agree with Nathan that it's pretty funny), I didn't know that Chomsky, Amy Goodman, Medea Benjamin and Barbara Ehrenreich were all "millionaires"!
