I was curious as to what Justin thinks of the defense of economic planning that has been elaborated by Allin Cottrell & Pual Cockshott as found in the following list of articles by them?

------------------------------------------------------------- Allin F. Cottrell and W. Paul Cockshott, "Information and Economics: A Critique of Hayek." http://www.reality.gn.apc.org/econ/hayek.htm

____________, "Socialist planning after the collapse of the Soviet Union" http://ricardo.ecn.wfu.edu/~cottrell/socialism_book/soviet_planning.pdf

____________, Towards A New Socialism. http://ricardo.ecn.wfu.edu/~cottrell/socialism_book/new_socialism.pdf http://ricardo.ecn.wfu.edu/~cottrell/socialism_book/

And I also include a critique of Cockshott & Cottrell by an economist of the Austrian school:

Len Brewster, "Review of 'Towards a New Socialism,' by W. Paul Cockshott and Allin F. Cottrell," The Quarterly Journal of Austrian Economics, Vol. 7, No. 1 (Spring 2004). http://www.mises.org/journals/qjae/pdf/qjae7_1_6.pdf
