In other words, Pat Bond is correct that a nation should first of all isolate itself from the developed world (i.e. from the imperialist core) if it ever wants, eventually, to attract industrial investment from the imperial center. For an undeveloped nation to accept "help" is to condemn itself to be forever an undeveloped nation.
Argentina was once a developed industrial nation, but no longer is. What were the causes of that "de-development" there?
