The Tribune-Review is owned by Richard Mellon-Scaife. Their editors (and
Steigerwald is one of them) are a bunch of clowns, and everyone around here
knows it. Unfortunately, the Trib is the major daily paper in Westmoreland
County (suburban/rural county east of Pittsburgh), which is a cause for some
concern, but they're not taken seriously in Pittsburgh proper. They
basically play the Washington Times to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's
Washington Post.

Their lead editor, Colin McNickle, briefly gained national notoriety last
year by eliciting a spirited -- though given the Trib's track record of
vicious calumny against her, I thought it remarkably understated -- "Shove
it!" from Teresa Heinz. McNickle strains to imitate William F. Buckley's
