Suburban Mansions? In my 45 minute bus ride to downtown Denver going past thousands of very modest, small old suburban homes and public housing projects, I go by two blocks of Mansions. The one I always look at has a huge peace sign on the roof. I visualize an Utne Reader subscriber , Birkenstock wearin' old hippie, who like you has contempt for those he supposedly is trying to organize.

How is your 'tude different from the MIM maoists saying the entire AmeriKKKan working class lives like zillionaires off of imperialist trickle down super-profits or Lenin the Bolshevik or Kautsky the Renegade Social Democrat saying revolutionary consciousness must be brought to the deluded proles from outside by the Revolutionary Intelligentsia somehow uncorrupted by the System?

When I've flipped through, "Anarchist Voices, " by Paul Avrich, a great, humongous oral history full of humble and funny reminiscences of mostly elderly anarchists, there was little of your elitist condescension.
