substitute teaching pays $70/day. I think teachers start out around $38k and my son claims the ones who've been around say they make $50-60k. I'll substitute teach, though I "make" more on unemployment now. Alas, once you factor in the 1.5-2 hrs commuting time, a wardrobe, gas/wear 'n' tear on vehicle, I'd make more at the Walmart or the 7-11, all of which are closer than the nearest middle or high school.

If I'm fortunate enough to land that job at the college, I'm taking my 18 credits and getting an LPN, then an RN. Last I knew, the ex-beau's mother was making $25/hr working at a physician's office. It's not _for_ the revo, but then I can throw money at Chuck0 and Yoshie.
