right. 

perhaps we should simply use the word "polite" instead of "politically
correct."

It should be pointed out, if it hasn't already, that "PC thinking" is
common on the right if not the middle. The anti-abortos insist that
fetuses be called pre-born babies (even though it sounds like
"pre-owned automobiles" to me). Etc. It's hardly restricted to the
left or the CP or the "Marxist Leninists."
