Remedy, the Finnish software firm which created the stupendous "Max Payne"
videogame, is at work on its next project, officially titled "Alan Wake":

Some astonishing visuals, and a plot line which seems to be heavily
inflected by Neil Manke's equally stupendous "They Hunger" series.
Remedy's brilliant lead designer Sam Lake, who seems well on the way to
becoming the Shigeru Miyamoto of the 21st century, has some interesting
