First, it still has to be determined who is behind the
bombings.
Second, it depends how Blair "spins" the attacks in
the coming days - popular opinion against the war is
already high.
Third, attention could earily be focused in why the
government didn't see this coming - the "foreign
dimension" may not carry much currency. (London is a
city "watched by the state" without peer in the
world).
Fourth, Blair should hope that Bush and Putin keep
their comments muted - i.e Iraq and Chechnya.
