Yesterday, I was reading, belatedly, a story about the history of Page 6 in Vanity Fair. Apparently, Robert Mitchum offended Janet Sartin because he was smoking on the plane. When she pointed out that it was a no smoking section, Mitchum stood up and left a deadly one to waft her way.
I guess that's a good way to conceive of fartback, eh?
