That's a remarkable attempt to divert us onto another topic, but I'll take the bait concealed in that delphic one-liner. I am not embarrassed by any of the things that I have said about Atzmon, and I resile from none of them.
My views are not a secret. I won't offer a judgment about his personal motivations, or about his performance of jazz at an SWP event.
The argument remains what it was: the article you cite is thoughtless drivel from beginning to end (which is a perfectly excellent pragamatic reason why you can't begin to defend it) and the website you have drawn it from is the cumulative effort of a dense cloud of uncommonly stupid gnats. If you wish to pursue some vague sectarian agenda here and do so with such nebulous snipes, go ahead. I'll leave this topic to the frothers and gnashers for now.
