People who blow themselves up in the course of blowing up others aren't leaders, they're footsoldiers.
And it's pretty icky to compare the Cuban revolution to jihad. I think the Cuban revolution was a very good thing, and jihad a very bad thing. Drawing a comparison between the two is pretty icky.
