And they are doing that with their resistance to the invader's presence. And in the only way they can. Under the iron heel of the invader and of the invader's puppets armed resistance is the only method available to the Iraqis to express their opinion.
It is against traditional international law for an occupying power to arrange for elections. Any elections are in violation of the rights of the Iraqi people, and hence are meaningless.
