Colleagues: not a surprise, but four unions-the Teamsters, SEIU, 
UNITE HERE and the UFCW-have made decisions not to attend the AFL-CIO 
convention that opens tomorrow. They have not yet announced whether 
they will also disaffiliate in the future. More now at Working Life 
blog and more to come in the next few hours and days.
