Speaking of the Russian econ, I am sitting in a hotel in Rostov-on-Don. Man, this city is hopping, or at least downtown is. Maybe aome of those "poor Russian provincial cities" are really so poor after all. Rostov sure doesn't look poor to me. It looks like it could be in West Germany someplace, only with different architecture.
