The AFL foreign policy strategy (i.e., the AIFLD, alliance with the
CIA, etc.) has always had the basis of a deal with the devil: if we
accept the capitalist foreign policy, maybe they'll be able to accept
our existence domestically. I doubt that the capitalists have
reciprocated...

This strategy has provided jobs (patronage) for the folks pushing the
strategy, including SDUSA creeps.
