Yup.

I was impressed on re-reading Ferguson & Rogers Right Turn (orig from 1986) a month or two ago by how many of the themes of 2004 were reruns of 1984. One example: the Dems shook the liberal funders down for GOTV operations, and still got their asses kicked by the Republican pros.

Recall Justin's story of how incredibly chaotic the GOTV operation was in Ohio.
