Dear Doug Henwood: Do you dispute that the U.S. spends aprox 700 million dollers per year

on its different intelligence agencies?

If you do not, then don't you think at least seven hundred million dollers per year is enough

history to worthy at least cursory investigation? Im wondering if you have stooped to read even the

most cursory of CIA Histories.

Was James Bamford making it up when he finally got the Opperation Northwoods documents

declassified, which showed that the Pentagon had planned to shoot down a commercial airline,

replace it with a drone, and used the manufactured incident as a causus belly-button for war against

Castro?

Is historical ignorance a prerequisite for your snooty, plationism?

What do the intelligence agencies do with our humble tithes? higher tiddley-winks?

Your factless, condescending namecalling with mister Berlett today suggests you have

sacrificed curiosity for academic status; reminds me of the social function of medieval monks.

yours not quite as snidely as you sound,

Nathaniel Heidenheimer
