Oh boy!

An actual rightist intellectual, that by the index to Bobos In Paradise, I'm scanning at amazon.com, that has read lefties Robert Bellah (CPUSA long ago), Pierre Bourdieu, Rachel Carson, Jane Jacobs, Jacques Ellul (well difficult to peg ideologically, see an essay by then New Leftist Christopher Lasch, collected in, "The World of Nations, " 1973), John Dewey, Abbie Hoffman, Thomas Frank, Paul Goodman, Kenneth Keniston (a forgotten figure who wrote sympatico studies of New Leftists), C. Wright Mills, Leo Lowenthal, Dwight Macdonald, Theodore Roszak, Karl Marx, Leo Marx, James C. Scott (I guess the debate between him and Sam Popkin on , "The Rational Peasant."), Richard Rorty.

Looks like he's read more lefties than any leftish pundit bothers with righties..
