[lbo-talk] BLS hourly earnings stat question

I'm looking at the following statistic:

http://data.bls.gov/cgi-bin/srgate Ask for series CEU0500000049 in select list for year, choose all years results in following table http://data.bls.gov/cgi-bin/srgate Series Id: CEU0500000049 Not Seasonally Adjusted Super Sector: Total private Industry: Total private Data Type: AVERAGE HOURLY EARNINGS, 1982 DOLLARS 1964 - 2005

Does anyone know if this is of people who are paid hourly only? Or is this all wage earners regardless of method of payment? That is, is the BLS imputing an hourly wage to salaried employees?

Thanks
