fewer than 1/3rd pay full cost of employee health care coverage, percentage paying full premium for family coverage is less than 10%, 60% of companies surveyed by met life indicated that they intended to substantially increase amount paid by individual employees, about 40% of all workers are in small business sector where only about 2/3rds of firms offer employees opportunity to pay some portion of their coverage (employee responsibility ranges from 20% of premium cost to 100% which means being able to pay somewhat lower group as opposed to individual coverage)... michael hoover
