All of this crap about a "united front" is a sure sign that the part of the antiwar movement run by ANSWER and similar folks has run out of ideas and influence.
Unity is something that will not grow the anti-war movement or make it more influential. There are lots of people out there now who are doing anti-war activism who don't give a shit about ANSWER. They aren't waiting around until October for some stupid "unity" protest in Washington.
