I really like the Olympus DS-330 which is still available in stores for 
around $130-150. I did a bunch of research before settling on this 
model. It's all digital and can store around 2.5 hours of audio. I've 
been using it for interviews in a variety of settings and have found 
that the audio quality has been pretty excellent. The interface and the 
software are more than adequate.
